It may be embarrassing to admit but we can be so close to someone that we become immune to who they are, how they’ve changed. We long to be known, but because of shame, fear, hurt, that longing become buried under bills, day cares, and careers.

God wants us to be fully known by him and each other especially in marriage. You’re invited to join us for this year’s TFH Marriage Conference: KNOWN.

Tarik and Maya Glenn are East Bay natives whose love story has taken them from Cal Berkeley to Indianapolis and back home again. Tarik spent a decade in the NFL as a Pro Bowl offensive lineman and helped lead the Indianapolis Colts to a Super Bowl championship — but the work they’re both most proud of has always been off the field. Maya, a UC Berkeley graduate and accomplished East Bay realtor and a real estate investor, has built a career on integrity, community, and showing up for people at every stage of life. Together, they founded DREAM Alive, a youth leadership nonprofit, and have spent 25+ years investing in families and the next generation. They live in Berkeley as empty nesters after raising their four children who have grown in their callings and careers while remaining deeply rooted in Jesus.

Tonya Waechter is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a certified leadership coach, and now Executive Pastor at TFH San Francisco — our sister church. With over 30 years as a therapist and a decade of coaching ministry leaders, Tonya has sat with countless couples and leaders in the hard places and helped them find their way through. She brings clinical depth, pastoral heart, and hard-won personal wisdom to everything she touches. She and her husband have been married for more than three decades — and she’ll be the first to tell you it has been a journey worth taking.
